Mari Krekeler, or Maridoodles, is a freelance illustrator based in Ohio. Mari studied illustration and animation at the Cleveland Institute of Art and has worked on projects ranging from children's books, storyboards, comics, and product design. Some notable clients Mari worked with include American Greetings, the Yetee, Powerhouse Animation Studios, and Halo Media Works. 


Mari is a digital artist that loves using vibrant colors and soft paper textures to immerse you into warm worlds full of detail. Mari loves anime, video games, fantasy, and supernatural stories and has created two passion project comic series about mermaids and monsters.
